Age restriction. No one under age 18 will be permitted to attend the show under any circumstances.
The term registrant shall refer to all individuals who register for this event, including but not limited to attendees, exhibitors, and speakers who have not yet received their entrance badge. Therefore, the term registration will be used to refer to information that any registrant submits to register for access to the show.
Transfer of registration to other attendees. Upon request of the original registrant, event management will transfer registration to another individual designated by the original registrant up to one week prior to the event. An additional $25 charge for handling the correction in registration may be requested. Please contact Rachel Byrne, Chief Operating Officer, at Rachael@midwestcannaexpos.com.
Cancellation of registration. Refunds are available up to 45 days prior to the first official day of the event. This is considered the refund deadline. All refunds must be submitted and received by the refund deadline.
A service fee of $50 will be charged for processing refunds. Special circumstances such as documented bereavement, military leave, or illness will be handled individually on a case by case basis. Otherwise, refunds are unavailable any time after the expiration of the refund deadline.
Midwest Canna Expos is committed to providing a safe, secure, professional experience to conference attendees. To ensure a smooth badge and check-in process, please comply with the following:
Valid photo identification is required for check-in to receive a badge. All conference registrants are to present a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or state ID. Registrants must appear in person and present government-issued photo ID that matches the registrant’s legal name.
Badge recipient is defined as any individual who receives an event badge, including but not limited to attendees, exhibitors, and speakers.
Badges will feature the name, registration number, and organization the badge recipient represents and must be worn at all times during the event. Event management reserves the right to request photo ID after badges are issued to validate participant identification.
Replacement badges are available for a fee of $50 to valid recipients who have not been removed for violation of the event terms and agreements. See prohibited activities. Replacement badges DO NOT INCLUDE any meal tickets, drink tickets or other accommodations. It is a badge only.
During the show.
Use of Name and Likeness. The event may capture the badge recipient on digital image, pictures, and video. Event management shall have the right in perpetuity to use said image, name, and likeness in connection to the event. Event management is permitted to, but not obligated to include the badge recipient’s name in the credits connected with said image.
Badge recipients hereby grant event management, event management assignees, licensees, and successors the rights to use candid group photos or videos without securing further consent or permission.
Release. The badge recipient releases event management, event management’s assignees, licensees, and successors from any claims that may arise from the use of the said image including: defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of moral, publicity, or copyright rights.
Dress code for the event. Although it’s a creative industry, event management strongly recommends business or business casual dress. Please follow regional guidelines for attire based upon event locale.
Prohibited Activities at the Event
Cannabis use at the event is prohibited. Use, possession, and distribution of cannabis-related products at the show is strictly prohibited.
Photography and videography during any speaker session is prohibited unless cleared through Imaginarium Enterprises LLC acting as Midwest Canna Expos prior to the event.
Badge passing is prohibited. Recipients passing badges without notifying event management will have their badge confiscated and re-entry to the event will be denied without refund.
Solicitation from non-exhibitors is prohibited. All solicitations require an executed and signed contract with Imaginarium Enterprises LLC acting as Midwest Canna Expos. This includes distribution of promotional materials, products, and services.
Vaping and smoking of tobacco products is to only be allowed in areas designated by the event venue.
Imaginarium Enterprises LLC doing business as as Midwest Canna Expos reserves the right to remove or deny admission to the event. Event management reserves the right to deny admission or to remove participants deemed as a risk to the professional atmosphere of the event. Grounds for denial of admission or removal include, but are not limited to, any individual who violates the terms set forth by event management or the event venue.
All badge recipients understand and accept these rules. Any event participant/badge recipient in any capacity, including but not limited to attendees, exhibitors, and speakers, hereby accept the terms and conditions of the event as set forth herein. Any event attendee further understands, acknowledges, and accepts that violation of any terms contained herein may result in immediate removal from the event and denial of re-entry without refund.
Note event management and Imaginarium LLC acting as Midwest Canna Expos are synonymous in these terms and conditions.
